¹³ And ^(A)rend your heart and not ^(B)your garments.”
Now return to the Lord your God,
For He is ^(C)gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness
And ^(D)relenting of evil.
¹⁴ Who knows ^(E)whether He will not turn and relent
And leave a ^(F)blessing behind Him,
Even ^(G)a grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?

^(I)Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly,
